SUMMERTIME
CHICKEN WINGS
Preheat oven to 325°
Combine the following ingredients in a roasting pan:
16 oz Rubicon IPA (with a 22oz bottle, you'll have 7 oz left over for your drinking enjoyment)
5 lb bag of chicken wings
1 tbsp. salt & pepper
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 cups water
½ cup chopped onions (optional)
3 tbsp hot sauce (optional)
Put roasting pan in the oven and cook for one hour. If you would like to grill the wings (like our chef and Glynn recommend)… just cook them in the oven for 20-30 minutes, drain off the liquid, and toss 'em on the grill for the remainder of the time.
These wings are great just like that… but if you are looking for a great messy hot sauce to smother them in, we've got a recipe for that too!
Whip together:
2 cups Red Hot sauce
1 cup butter
1 tsp garlic salt
*Chef's note: Be sure to enjoy these wings with your favorite ice cold Rubicon beer!
