SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BREWERY!
The FAMILY EVENT OF THE YEAR takes place on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 2pm to 7pm. For the fifth year in a row, we are closing down the street in front of the RUBICON (Capitol Ave between 20th and 21st Streets) and filling it with great LIVE PERFORMANCES, BBQ, a BEER/WINE GARDEN, GAMES & ACTIVITIES for the kids (including a Walk-a-Thon and a rock-climbing wall), as well as local vendor and informational BOOTHS! This all adds up a FUN-FILLED DAY for the whole family! Festival entrance is free to all, and tickets for the Beer Garden are available in advance at the Rubicon for $20 starting Monday, August 9th. They will also be available on the day of the festival for $25. And as always… ALL of the profits from the day go to benefit The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento! The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Sacramento has helped thousands of children in our community for over 10 years. Their mission is very important and they depend on the support of their community to implement their Youth Development Strategy, which is to create "club programs and services [that] promote and enhance the development of our members by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and a power of influence." If you are interested in booth space, making a monetary donation, sponsoring a child for the Walk-A-Thon, or would just like more information, please contact The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento. If you would like to speak to someone in person, there will be a representative available at the Rubicon all day every Wednesday in August for their 501c Wednesday events. The RUBICON BREWING COMPANY is a proud sponsor of this event, and would like to extend a cordial invitation to all of our friends and neighbors. Please make this a true community event, and invite your friends and neighbors, too.
Hiking and Brewery Tour of Northern Arizona with Rubicon Outdoors Tell them Glynn sent you and 10% of the gross profit will be donated to the Rubicon Brewing Companies 501c charities. For more information on the Northern Arizona Trails and Ales - Guided Hiking and Brewery Tour, please click here.
